Specialised Welding Australia provide a complete engineering & site capability for the construction, and maintenance of process plants, with expertise in managing planned shutdowns for major process plants in Australia.
In-house Facilities
Specialised Welding Australia Pty Ltd has two covered bays each approximately 15 m wide and 60m long with adequate headroom to handle up to 6m diameter fabrications. Each of these bays has four 10 tonne overhead travelling cranes. Total under cover area is approximately 2000 m2, which includes fabrication areas, office facilities, and covered storage areas. A further external hard standing (uncovered) area of approximately 4,500 m2 is available for additional storage and larger fabrications.

Craneage
Fixed and travelling cranes service the workshop with total lift capacities up to 30 tonne per bay. Mobile crane with 10 tonne capacity and three forklifts' services the yard and construction areas respectively. Fabricated items up to 110 tonne can be accommodated.
Coating Systems
Coating and painting requirements can be performed in our dedicated blast and paint facility. Our blasting and painting shop has around 225m2 of working space and we follow the Australian standard AS1627.4 Class 1, AS1627.4 Class 2, AS1627.4 Class 2.5, AS1627.4 Class 3. This also includes other global standards such as NACE, SSPC & Swedish Standards (St,Sa).
Hydrostatic testing
Specialised Welding Australia can offer complete fixed and mobile hydrostatic testing laboratories. Testing will normally be carried out on- or off-site by qualified and accredited third party consultants.
